In Shilton's early career it was virtually impossible to foul a goalkeeper. You could push them, virtually bundle them into the net

Btw 1-0 scores are still the norm

arsenal are my second team :) but i was wondering..why is Petr Čech getting worse with age? Look at likes of van der sar, brad friedal (he still did well at 41) and buffon? they were and are still doing amazing well in their 40s. Petr Čech is one of the greats but has gone down hill so much over last few years but could it be the result of a bad defence?

what is your thoughts?

Wenger won't spend the money necessary to get a proper replacement.

The Almunia years are coming back.
