He's done.

Need a new number one in the summer.

Thanks Pete, good keeper and top professional but it's time to stop.

I hope he can have that solitary clean sheet to make him the first goalkeeper with 200 clean sheets. He's been waiting for 8 games now.

Imagine no clean sheets in 8 games...

I believe we will keep Cech for one more season even if we buy a top class replacement in the summer. Ospina might be sold.

Come on Petr!
Obviously he deserves dat, though i tink in my opinion hes never been da same since his tragic head injury. In his prime cech was something else. Very few be4 him visited the himalaya of concentration like he used to.
Ima big fan of him , hes a good sport and a personality in our Club.

Been a liability since the start of last season. slow, rooted to the line and lacks agility, in short useless.

Great performance from Cech shame about the defence in front of him, with Ospina in goal we'd have lost 5-0 or more today like i said a few months he's just as good as Buffon or better only difference is the players infornt of them, f**k if you put me in the juventus goal I could win golden glove.

made some huge saves today but the aura of the ball being anywhere near him is still frightening. you cant just be a goalkeeper per se anymore, you have to be good on the ball too

Cech was awesome. 9/10 performance. I thought he did great.

:rofll: :rofll: I hope the part where you said he's as good as Buffon is just sarcasm. The guy made some good saves but still somehow managed to make everyone nervous whenever the ball was near him.

Reminds me of John Lukic with the ball at his feet incedently the rule changes around picking up the ball was why John retired, the thing we need most is a keeper that bosses the 18 yard line we need a ruthless catcher of the ball or a keeper that knocks forwards heads off with a punch, god knows our defenders cant head a ball

No, you put Buffon in this team and he'll look just as bad only ones who'd really stand out are the likes of De Gea/Neuer, take Szczsney for instance was crap here now he's looks good due to facing maybe one dangerous shot per game.
