Looks like he is leaving in Jan

Bild say he has told his teammates he is returning to the BuLi

Hertha Berlin apparently his destination, loan with option/obligation to buy, Arsenal want €20-30m

Xhaka’s agent hasn’t denied it

I think Arteta is smart enough to know that he doesnt have the pace for EPL.

One of the things I expect Arteta to do is add pace and power to the midfield.

As bad as our defense is, this team needs a midfield fix before anything else.

Our problems start there.

Considering Arteta had no pace or power, what do you base that on, he is just as likely to make him captain again, considering Auba brother said what he did about Arteta being appointed ?

Yes got to say that's a baseless opinion, Arteta might rate Xhaka, I hope not as he's not much good, but we don't know.

    Backward passes all game
Slows down the play, holds up the play unnecessarily
    Plays very conservatively
Is very slow, terrible against any kind of press
His passing is good but overrated
Get rid in January and give chances to the likes of Guendo and/or Willock until we can find replacement

Midfield is horrible. Can't attack, can't defend.

Will be tough to fix.

Well this doesn’t bode well for Arteta. Says Xhaka is an important player for us

Arteta see's himself in Xhaka when it pertains to leadership and Xhaka does have some good passing qualities but this is training. Xhaka is a tweener, not agile or good enough on the ball to play for us, Also lack quickness.

The fans know Xhaka is a half baked player who struggles when receiving the ball on his right foot, who consistently slows down the build up of our attacks

But Arteta May actually like Xhaka but he’s hardly going to turn round in the first week of his job and says he sucks, always has to big up the players to keep the price value up.

Wenger, Emery, Freddie and now Arteta all rate him. I don't understand but i don't need to understand as long as results improve.

I assume the only reason for Arteta to say that Xhaka is an important player to the team is to try keeping his selling value as high as possible.
