Did you not see his pass to Auba against Brighton? Also they play completely different roles.

I know they play different roles. However, Torreira is capable of doing the defensive part of Xhaka's role and Willock is able to carry the ball with his b2b abilities.

And then we have two CM’s who can’t make a pass between them, great.

Xhaka is a w***er but unfortunately he has to play unless we want to be a 10 behind the ball counter team.

When you balance what he gives compared to the mistakes/his faults he automatically takes himself out of the team.

It would be extremely negligent if the club doesn't buy a quality defensive midfielder in the January window.

This clown shows time and again that he's simply not good enough. A liability even.

It would be typical of Arsenal if we didn't .

It's worrying that it is probably his behaviour after being substituted and his removal as captain that will force us to replace him rather than the fact that he's simply not good enough.

His performances in the last couple of games haven't been bad though.

We don't need a DM. We have Torreira.

We need a top class CM. I'm excited to see what Ceballos can do under Freddie/our new coach.

When he returns...

--- Torreira
Ozil - Ceballos

... Might turn our to be our best midfield combination.

Until then, I wouldn't be opposed to Ozil playing as a floating CM alongside Torreira and Guendouzi.

Just a typical performance from him and that's exactly the frustration with him. I think we get another combative dm that can do the b2b job aswell and get rid asap! That will allow Matteo to be used in rotation and not overwork him.

------------ Lucas --------- DM ------------

Pepe ------------ Ozil/Laca ------------- Martinelli

-------------------- Auba/Laca -------------------

No, I just couldn't be bothered to do another team shape lol.

If Laca and Auba were to both play I think they'd be a front two with Laca being slightly deeper ala Henry Bergkamp etc.

It should be Guendouzi and Torreira. When Guen came on yesterday, he was able to pass the ball around with ease, get it forward, making supporting runs and not just knock the ball into a dead end where the winger or wing back is in a tight spot.

Guendo/Torreira/Ozil or Guendo/Torreira/Ceballos is the way to go, definitely.

Xhaka has somehow sneaked his way back in the team and the fans have just accepted it, which is pretty unbelievable, at any other club he would have never played again, but we have him back in the team.

Torreira is decent he should play there, then we have a few options to play alongside him but no Xhaka.

Xhaka needs to absolutely f**k off out of this club. He should never play again. Bring the Xhaka out banners.

No replacements for him. That's why he keeps coming back. Torreira has shortcomings as well. May be Luiz should have a go there(DM).
