Sure. That’s why clubs are offering us silly money to take him.

In his prime he was not regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, I have no idea what madness has taken you.

Yes, Xhaka is better suited to slower paced football and would look better be elsewhere, like he does when he plays for Switzerland. But lets not go OTT about him being one if the best in the world lol.

Haha yeah maybe I got a bit carried away maybe one of the best in the league, I’m not even a fan of his but I can recognise that he’s not a bad player just a victim of being a poor squad with a bad manager

Who cares, we won 3-0.

Cos in other games against better teams it'll matter

As we have seen in the teams we have been destroyed with

Your "we won and every problem is solved" outlook is as dumb as expected.

We said during the epic unbeaten run that the shit performances might be fine v the shit teams but we all knew how it would be v the better teams.

Look what happened

That's why it matters. That's why Arsenal fans care. You don't. Says alot.

Doomers care.
Arsenal fans are happy tonight, not crying about every mistake we made in the game.
Not a single one of the mistakes in the game mattered.
We won 3-0.

Lol, cheer up.
You seem a little tightly wound.
Surprising for an Arsenal fan after we won 3-0 and played excellently.

With Auba being a complete embarrassment lately, is it time to return the captains armband to its rightful owner?

Not sure Xhaka can get back after all the water under the bridge, but obviously he'd be much better than Auba as captain.

Thought Xhaka was ok against both Everton and Southampton - he always is when he doesn't make a major error. His problem over the years is that he has made too many.

He made an error against Everton, his lack of a challenge led to their winning goal.

He either shouldn’t have got booked the first time round or should have been in a better position.

Should have been sold last summer, we stupidly didn’t and then gave him a new contract and now we’re lumbered with this guy!

He was one of our better players vs Everton, but still I don't disagree he should be replaced.
Still a much better option than Auba as captain, however.

I don't think any of us like him, but he really needs game time ASAP.
No Partey nor El Neni during AFCON.
