Him getting booed off is unacceptable whether you like him or not.

Maybe his actions are equally as bad taunting the fans then throwing his shirt on the floor walking down the tunnel.

Let's be fair here, Xhaka gets mullered by fans day in day out, his wife got abused on Social Media, he's been booed off the last two games and Xhaka’s reaction is pure emotion, you can’t do it but it’s unfair to put him in that position, the whole thing has snowballed and snowballed and nothing has been done to calm it down.

i dont feel sorry for him one bit. that's the way football has gone im afraid, we can sit here and debate whether it should have happened or not but fans have become more expectant and demanding than ever and if fans don't like what they see, or they feel like they're being mugged off, they will voice their opinion. i remember a utd mate used to take the mick out of arsenal fans booing at the emirates and used to say 'that would never happen at old trafford', using it as a yardstick to beat us with, but now they routinely boo there too. in fact you can even go as far as to say it's a societal issue; people are more opinionated and demanding than ever and will voice it. so it's not just football.

imagine spending thousands of pounds following arsenal only to see a dumb fool like xhaka cost you points, play bad and then get made captain. you can only take so much of it before you make your voice heard.

Shut the hell up, he got booed because he was taking his sweet ass time walking off in moment where fans were frustrated and we were attacking CP.

Ozil got stick for it, so why is he above it?

He made it worse by taunting so the rest of the fans started booing him for his reaction.

He inflammed his own situation, told the fans to "fk off" then threw off his shirt, the mans a disgrace and Emery has put himself on the fryer for this guy.

What sort of Captain does that?

Nope for the 100th time he got booed because we weren’t winning and he ambles off like he was timewasting to hold a lead.

One that will be out of the club very soon and booed anytime he steps on the pitch again. He is done, that reaction was Gallas level.

Come on

That was Disgusting behaviour from the fans, the last time I recall it got this bad was when Eboue got booed off

I think in fairness We should probably cash in on Xhaka, but how can anyone be upset at the way he reacted? The guy get abused for literally anything bad that happens at Arsenal and has been for the past 2 seasons. He was bound to snap.

I was at the game today and he was woeful. He deserved everything he got especially after his taunting of the fans.

That reaction and walking off the pitch when we had CP under a bit of pressure completely slowed the game down. Wasted time which is exactly what Palace were doing at every opportunity.

Absolute clown he ain't my Captain, now please eff off.

I guess you missed that part where the crowd cheered loudly when his number was announced as the one to be subbed? The booing had nothing to do with him slowly walking off the pitch while we were attacking.

That said, no one can deny his reaction made everything worse.
