Missed him,Guendouzi was very poor, wasn't happy with him starting for this game.

Yes, we missed him, but I still think we are good enough to beat United even without Xhaka. Well, too bad we only get a point in the end.

Guendouzi is great, he's only 19 mind you.

Him and Guendouzi were just extremely poor

Even Lucas was losing the ball a fair bit but his goal masks it

He gave the ball to Huddersfield player in our penalty box. Nothing extraordinary really.

He's the best we have in recycling possession but he's not someone we should be relying on as he's so limited.

If Xhaka's the man Emery wants to build his team around, he needs a serious brain check. I'm already fearing Emery alienating Ozil and Lacazette.

he's a good player but the 3 of torrieria goudouzi and xhaka doesnt work. not enough attacking threat.

only when he's not pressured. and there are many many players who can do that. and who are faster.

Xhaka made the most ball recoveries, most tackles, most clearances, most defensive headers, most passes and the most final third passes for us yesterday

only proves my point, he's absolutely crucial to our midfield yet can look horrendous at times

Yup need at least one aggressive attacker of the 3 ie ozil or ramsey imo. All of them don't really move between the lines enough when together.

No coincidence that our play was better at the weekend when he was in midfield again in the first half. Soon as we switched to a back 3 and put him LCB it went downhill again.

Might not be a world beater but given our options, he's needed in the middle.

Yeah I heard that argument as well, as soon as he was taken out of CM the balance and control completely went someone said. Still trying to figure out whether that is the case or whether it was the natural motions of a match i.e. Burnley coming out of the 2nd half fighting. Interesting argument though.
A new era.
