Since coming to Arsenal Xhaka has been sent off more than any other PL player.

We have enough midfielders to sell him at the end of January.

Tonight has to be the last straw.

Merson trying to pin it on Ramsdale for not coming out and challenging for the ball.

Not sure he’s getting anywhere near it tbh.

Wonder what the reaction would have been if this leg had been played at the Emirates

When the foul happened out to the left I thought it was Tierney, then the camera panned in and it was Xhaka.

My reaction was priceless.

".......... of fkin course it's Xhaka!! who else??"

He had a similar record in the Bundesliga when we bought him.

Is he available for Sunday?

Because if he isn't we have nobody.

More than half should never have been red cards.

Wasn't the Liverpool game enough proof that "nobody" is literally a better option than Xhaka?

Well I’d like to hope this would actually mean something in terms of his time here being over but no doubt he’ll strt the game after Burnley.

This is why we need 2 midfielders.

It’s amazing that Guendozi and Auba are exiled for discipline yet Xhaka getting sent off repeatedly and telling the fans to FO on international television doesn’t seem to be impacting his chances of starting.

The great Brian Clough once said about his star central defender Des Walker, that he'd fine him half his weeks wages if he ever crossed the halfway line during a game, because that wasn't what he was in the team to do but the opposite in best utilising his blistering pace and great timing of the tackle, i.e. you play to your strengths, from which spawned the chant, 'YOU'LL NEVER BEAT DES WALKER'.

In having previously commented that in playing Xhaka further forward of the pivotal roles in central midfield like he does for Switzerland, and thus being much closer to the opposition goal than his own, his liability stakes are drastically reduced.

Now, short of a Forrest Gump style arrangement of fans behind the goals with giant placards screaming XHAKA, NO! BACK AWAY FROM OUR BOX! the moment he gets anywhere near our defensive third, I think the only other way to finally rid him of this nasty habit once and for all would be to lay landmines at both ends of a training pitch and give him a sack of balls. A bit of a drastic remedy I admit, but he'll finally learn the lesson one way or the other, that's for sure.

You think one player in the dressing room had a pop at Xhaka? One player man enough to say fecker no matter how hard we try you let us down? I doubt it.
