if youre not retarded that is possibly the worst stat presentation ive ever seen no matter what you think of his ability/lack thereof, only two players who have completed more passes than him in the league are fernandinho & otamendi

KDB also has how many assists?

It's natural for him to misplace passes as he's always looking to play incisive killer balls.

xhaka tries to switch the play every game as well, which is also difficult to consistently pull off.

no-one is trying to debate about how much better kdb is than xhaka, but the fact that the stat that everyone is creaming their pants over is probably the most misused statistic ive ever seen.

when you pass the ball as much as he does then you're going to naturally have more unsuccessful passes

im not defending xhaka's performances, im defending him being used as a scapegoat for a meaningless statistic which is fuelling idiots to begrudge him over something that isnt a worthwhile complaint

This

Xhaka is a shocking player who looks shit for us and Swiss

Except he doesn't. Like many of our other players he looks much better for the NT than he does here. Probably coz he can play his natural game as a DLP without having to also play the destroyer role.

What the hell is a DLP.....I agree with Souness when he says so many players do little and gets away with it. I have watched Xhaka many times for the Swiss. He is far from great. He is not great defensively or offensively. He is not good at passing unless no one is close to him, he doesnt close players, he doesnt win many balls back. He has misplaced most passes of all midfielders in the league. i guarantee most of this come from him being so slow that he gets pressured and panics as he has to get rid of the ball quickly

To be clear, yes that statistic is obviously pulled out of context, I just thought it was funny considering so many people praised his passing.

His long ball passes are really good. But sadly, that's the only thing he is good at.

Deep lying playmaker. Pirlo is an example of one. Xhaka may not be as good but he does a job there as one. It's just Wenger misusing him and asking him to also be a destroyer.
Fact you're using the deluded always-angry Liverpool t**t as source to agree with is hilarious. Off you go back to deepthroating diaby

Or maybe they do see it, and that's part of the problem.
