That's what happens when you give a player a clear role in a coherent system. Weird, I know.

coherent system...I swear people didnt watch him against nothern ireland. He was so bad in the second game. Unbelievably limited player. All he does is pass the ball side wise or to nearest player. Cant beat a player against a team that was sitting back, cant create anything and he cant defend. Our fans are so similar to wenger that they cant admit to themselves guy is just poor and a flop signing. Always making excuses. Its the system, its wenger, xhaka needs a player who does his defending and a player who does his attacking in 3 man midfield etc etc. So what does he contribute to the team?

kevin de bruyne's misplaced 12 less passes than granit, city should bin him as well tbh

if youre not retarded that is possibly the worst stat presentation ive ever seen no matter what you think of his ability/lack thereof, only two players who have completed more passes than him in the league are fernandinho & otamendi

I was going to ask what is his ratio and how many more attempted passes does he have compared to everyone.

Stats do indeed lie, because many times they only tell half of the story.

Having said that, I'm not a Xhaka fan and think he's pretty average.

yeah people can have whatever their opinion is on a player, but feeding out stats like this in order to forward a false narrative is ridiculous

stats are a dangerous game. they have to be used in context otherwise it causes morons to believe someones good/bad regardless of what it really means

KDB also has how many assists?

It's natural for him to misplace passes as he's always looking to play incisive killer balls.

Xhaka also plays many long passes because the midfield next to him is playing as striker and he has no one to pass to.

Still, better than Pulisic
