It's usually 3 domestic games unless they changed the rules again

Back in the day, league cup games didn't count. Then they did.

Haven't heard anything about changing back

That is the best comment to describe this situation.

Arteta does seem like he's willing to risk it all for the ones he see's are his favourites.

One reason I can't back him amongst many others, do what's best for AFC not your favs.

There will much unrest in the stadium if the announcer calls out Xhaka's name at 330pm on Sunday.

It defies logic. Can anyone tell me what Xhaka brings to the team that no other CM we have can bring ?

Because Xhaka reminds Arteta about himself as a player. No athleticism and moderate technical ability.

Xhaka spends a good chunk of his time repeating Arteta's instructions to everybody. None of our other captains do this.

Arteta had us playing good football back when there were drinks breaks every 20 mins and he could rebrief the team on what to do.

Bugger, I just remembered this is game 3 as well. Surely, despite the opposition not being as good as Chelsea and City, it can't be lost on Arteta that the games we have scored in, won and not conceded just happen to occur when this idiot is out the way? Tanganga of Spurs did exactly the same thing the other day against Palace. The 2nd tackle wasn't dirty but it was just stupidity, the sort of idiocy Xhaka exhibits time after time and will never eradicate or even have the awareness to realise he should do.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Won every game since Xhaka's ban.

Bring back Xhaka straight away - Arteta logic

This goes back to comments others have made about Arteta needing/wanting to micro-manage everything.

All we can do is pray that as we've won every game since Xhaka's ban and lost all the ones when he was in the team ............ Arteta may of felt a sensation called "happiness".

Hopefully Arteta doesn't get confused and wants to go back to being mentally butchered, depressed and sad.

Leave Xhaka out = Happy feeling

Put Xhaka in = Suicidal depression

Hmmmm ........ which to choose?

A stroke of luck for Arteta, we known he would have played every game otherwise.

He played well vs Spurs - shame for anyone to get injured when the team seems to be really flying.

He did play well against Spurs. Partey alongside him suits him.
