Watch that 2nd goal that wolves scored and say this again. All this clown had to do was make a simple challenge against Traore. What did he do, try to stand him up. You can't make up how disgustingly awful he is.

Does he not understand that backing off a player with the ball is not good defending

Yep. He's a shocking player but I really don't understand why Arteta has him pressing high up the pitch in the middle. How many videos are there of Xhaka getting beaten and bypassed so easily when he attempts to press high?

Comedy footballer. You can see Gabriel intercept and gesture to Xhaka that he wants to keep the ball, a half second before Xhaka takes it off him and boots it 30yds back to Leno lol

Fraud of a player. Can punt it back with zip when it's backwards but didn't have the courage to play it forward with that sort of pace.

Thats not necessarily true, it depends on the scenario. Sometimes standing up and jockeying buys time for teammates to get back, at times diving in is the worst thing you can do. Thats what Mustafi does time and time again and leaves us wide open as a result.

That is a shocking passage of play. 3 Arsenal players closest to the ball and that was his choice?!!!

Imbecile of a player

This situation sums up his defensive abilities. He allows Traore to turn and just keeps on running back, backing up into his own box.

On the flip side, if he does try to stop Traore from turning and presses with aggression he won't win the ball, as seen from his comical defending for the first goal.

Such a problematic player. He shouldn't still be here. Unbelievable that he outlasted Torriera and Guendouzi.

The bloke is rubbish let’s face it, always has been and always will be, he’s been stinking up the place for what 4-5 years now, he then had a go at the fans and still some think that he can do a job.

Always said we can’t move forward with this guy in the team, we had the perfect opportunity to get rid and Arteta welcomed him back with open arms, inexcusable.

Seeing as he didn't make the squad today. This fool will most likely play on Sunday, and we'll look terrible as always when he plays.

I fundamentally don't understand why he plays

This guy literally is the problem when he plays.

Dude, Traore chest is bigger then Xhaka's whole body. You don't try and stand him up, you go down low and take his legs. You foul or you get the ball.

He regularly gets criticised for diving in ffs. Damned if he does, damned if he don't!

I'm really starting to think this clown has some sort of clause that requires him to start a certain amount off games. Cause this just doesn't make any sense. This is baffling.
