100% win rate if the FA didn't live in the stone age and introduced VAR earlier.

100% win rate if had the linesman matched the higher standards of his superior colleague on the opposite side of the field.

100% win rate of Vertonghen was spotted entering the penalty area before the kick was taken to eventually go on and block the ball.

In a nutshell a win if it wasn't for diabolical officiating, but we can not ignore Auba/Laca's sub par finishing.

All in all, safe for a couple of individual errors, a great team performance away from home against a top 3 side.

*in the league :hiding:

In other news, Arsenal fans in fury after drawing an away game against a top 6 opponent. That's a positive swing from last season right?

With season I referred to Premier League season.

And yeah sure is. :)

Also a more favorable run of remaining games than all of Spurs, United and Chelsea.

In the Evening Standard:
Arsenal to sell players refusing to sign new deals in wake of Aaron Ramsey’s exit

Arsenal club chiefs have reportedly confirmed players who have two years left on their contracts and refuse to sign a new deal will be sold by the club.

The Gunners have suffered a host of recent transfer sagas when it comes to out-of-contract players, with Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey leaving the club on a free.

Sanchez joined Manchester United last year in a swap deal after running down his contract, while Ramsey signed a pre-contract with Juventus in January ahead of a summer switch.

Mesut Ozil also used the same strategy when it came to his new deal and the club gave into his mammoth wage demands, making him the best paid player at the club by some distance.

At a fans’ forum before the win over Manchester United, managing director Vinai Venkatesham and director of football Raul Sanllehi addressed the supporters in a 90-minute meeting, alongside surprise guest, club director Josh Kroenke.

Venkatesham and Sanllehi admitted the Gunners needed to be more ‘efficient’ and make the hard calls before being backed into a corner by players.

The Mirror claim the Arsenal bosses said in the future, players who were running down their contracts would be offloaded.
There are several Arsenal players with contracts set to expire in 2021, including star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Ozil too will be heading into the final two years of his deal in the summer, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis also in the same boat.

Arsenal are expected to be bring in a club’s technical director in the coming weeks, with former Roma chief Monchi set to be appointed.

Kroenke assured fans Arsenal’s main goal was to win silverware and backed Unai Emery to bring success back to the club.
Emery is on track to secure Champions League qualification for next season after Arsenal beat United at the Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners now sit two points clear of fifth-placed United and are in pole position to claim top four with eight games left to play.

To sell top players and find proper replacement is the hardest task. Easier said than done. That's why all big clubs end up giving mega contracts to their iconic players.
Wenger tried to sell established players pushing 30 and we ended up from a title contender to a 4th spotter.
Now it could be even worse.

One of the biggest mistakes Wenger made was that over 30 rule, killed us as a force the day he decided to pursue that.

Got to say, I am loving being an Arsenal fan right now though, properly pleased with how things are looking now.

Friend of a friend runs a small charitable group that collect provisions & clothing and go into central London to hand it out to the homeless.

He contacted Tony Adams recently via his twitter page to see if he could lend some celebrity help to the charity's fundraising. Tony messaged him asking for some more information.

The other night, when the charity workers were setting up their stall near Kings Cross, who turns up but big Tony himself, carrying a bundle of his own coats. He stood with the guys for the whole evening, into the early hours, helping to hand out the stuff. He has promised to do whatever he can to help the charity going forward.

What a guy.

We don't need to buy anyone next season if we bring back Bielik as DM and Smith-Rowe as a winger or attacking midfielder.
Both are highly regarded prospects, and with good guidance will become top players.
If those two work out, then we will have a wealth of midfielders and can stop worrying about playing Xakha day in and day out.
Less pressure on our defense w/little Torreira partnering 6'2" Bielik.
Only saddened by the loss of Ramsey, who seems to be hitting his golden patch.
Only if the Juve deal could be nullified....
