Very impressive

I think 10 points from the next four matches is eessential. Then it's Liverpool at home.

Good momentum could see us playing them with no fear, which makes them beatable.

We have to work so hard to keep shape though otherwise they'll tear us to shreds on the break. We need to step up a lot to get to the level they're playing at, atm.

Wouldn't even mind that but they're a really well balanced team with a lot of different ways to attack.

I'm actually quite impressed how much they've grown since they got promoted.

I wouldn't be surprised if we have a brief spell of being top of the league soon with some of the fixtures coming up.

We'll make top 4 this season I think.

✓ Arguably Holding's best game in an Arsenal shirt
✓ Torreira slotting in nicely
✓ Safe for one or two hiccups Xhaka had a very decent game
✓ Leno made his debut and some important interventions (plus one shaky moment)
✓ Despite his misses, Lacazette never let his head hang and forced the error for the opener
✓ Iwobi continues his good form
✓ Another strong second half performance
✓ The sometimes needed dose of good fortune remains on our side
✓ 100% win record against teams ranked between 5th and 20th
✓ 7th win on the bounce
✓ Clean sheet no. 2

Remember ........... watch what you wish for, we were told.

7 wins home and away on the bounce, Qarabag should be 8 wins (no jinx).

Yes I wish for this, Id rather lose the odd game to top 3 sides but win every other game than win the odd game against top 3 but lose to team like fkin Brighton etc.

I'm feeling really positive about how this season will go. We seem to be grinding out results.

It is a real sea change witnessing our new found enthusiasm and people feeling genuinely optimistic for how this season might indeed pan out.

But I must admit to feeling just a tad unsettled regards concerning ourselves about the Liverpool game in the not immediate future.

So much can happen between now and then as to make even the most brilliant consideration now, completely irrelevant come the time of the game.

Hence why never looking beyond the next game is an old adage.

I'm positive because we've fought hard to get to where we are, and considering the games we have until Liverpool, it gives us a lower pressured schedule to gel more before we start playing teams that will punish every mistake.

Also, Liverpool have their own problems tbh. They enter a hellish period of fixtures and while we have to travel huge distances, they have to play huge games in the CL mixed with huge games domestically.

Who knows what shape their team will be in by the time we meet them.

Even still, there's a lot to play until then so I'm quietly watching to see how we fare.

Even still, we've put ourselves in a great position at this stage.
