Can you please explain what you mean by sell Giroud for Auba? Wenger bought Laca in summer to play CF while Giroud was very much around. Auba on the other hand has been deployed wide by both Wenger and Emery.

Yes its quite simple.

Wenger bought Laca to quell the fact that Arsenal fans were not happy just having Giroud as the "best" striker at the club and he hadn't bought a proper striker for years.

He eventually bought one at a price meaning he'd have to play but that still left room for Giroud to play as well to compete for starting place.

Then he's told we're buying Auba, do you think we would ever keep 3 senior strikers? no, one of them was going, simple as that.

Its not a coincidence Giroud was sold the moment Auba came in you know, on top of that you and I both know it wasn't voluntary either, neither Giroud or Wenger wanted to part ways, it was forced on them.
