Nope. Wengerball would have meant sideways passes until the ball ended up back with chambers (who we kept in the first team rather than signing sokratis). Then Chambers would have made a sloppy pass to Wilshere (who got a new contract at the expense of signing Torreira) who would have given away a free kick from which we'd have conceded.

Sorry, just seen the thread title. I love Emery btw, exactly what we needed. Absolutely buzzing at how our season is going.

Ain't it funny when you hear pundits saying that they would have expected us to win the 11 games that we have?
Could you not have expected us to win at Bournemouth , Swansea Brighton away and ostersunds at home that came in an 11 game spell last season?
They are absolutely gutted that they can't drag out the carefull what you wished for mantra
A first win in Portugal tonight
At a ground where a team have been unbeaten in a year
I believe we can win anywhere
That belief is in the Arsenal DNA
It was seriously challenged in wengers later years
A return to that belief is the most positive change that can take place and it should coarse throu everybody associated with the club

f**k 'em. Gonna enjoy seeing them eat humble pie when they realize this isn't the same Arsenal as the past few seasons and we're actually competing for honors instead of merely making up the numbers.

Exactly that, this 11 game winning streak is against teams Arsenal are EXPECTED to beat, but under Wenger every one of them would be far more lose-able !

Emery is doing what any good manager should be doing at Arsenal, his job, CORRECTLY !!!

I'm very pragmatic about my FPL selections. I never pick Arsenal players for sentimental reasons

But now I'm picking Arsenal players simply because they'll get me the most points!

I'm not sure. Our defence still hasn't looked solid and most of our attacking players are unpredictable/ not sure of a starting spot in every game. I've got Laca myself atm, but I don't really see other appealing options.

I think Emery will pick Auba consistently now.

Wouldn't Bellerin be a solid pick? High assist rate and almost guaranteed pick with the odd clean sheet

Yes he's a solid choice

No choice is ever perfect unless it's three seasons ago and the player in question is Vardy

Wrist slitting aside, not the worst result considering the variables that were at play.

Still unbeaten for 12 games, plus going by the latest reports both Kolasinac and Monreal could return ahead of the Liverpool game come next Saturday.

Top 4 position still intact providing Spurs either draw or lose to City tomorrow night.
