I think he's better than people realize. The contractual mess around his move kind of hid his quality. One Brazilian scout said that if the remaining two years on his contract were recognized by UEFA, then he likely would have cost 15m on the open market. Now, technically UEFA doesn't recognize the last two years of that deal so he was eligible to move for free this year. Edu offered 3m as good will so that Arsenal will be kept abreast of new prospects coming through their pipeline. Greasing the negotiation wheels so to speak.

We can argue over whether that was the best use of funds, only time will tell, but I think we got a great deal on a prospect that could be huge in a couple of years.

Don't care about ManU(re), but perfectly happy that our suffering supporters are having a better time.
But, game at a time. Won't look further much.

I have a special feeling in my willy that tells me Utd are going to reach depths this season not seen since the 70s and 80s.

They are rotten. There is nothing good whatsoever going on at that club

Zinchenco and Jesus have eight PL medals between them. Maybe the reality of that has changed the dynamic in the squad and shit feels a bit more real for the players. They know if they want one of those things have to change

Actually they are relishing the free role that Arteta has given them. At ManCity they were allowed only a part of the job.
Seems like Jesus, Zinchenko, Martinelli, Odegaard and Saka have been given a free hand now, so why the uptick in performance. They can interchange and move around as they deem necessary. This has happened only because all five are technically sound and play multiple roles.

Yes I noticed today that they were playing with a lot of fluidity. Our front line is essentially made up of good quality utility forwards. That is now paying dividends because they are comfortable wherever they end up.

For example, good luck forcing a player wide who doesn't mind attacking from the wing
