We're currently well within touching distance of top 6 and top 4.

Decent run and we're on track... Back to good form of last year, Dec to May.

I didn't watch MoTD so saved myself untold pain of re-living that debacle yesterday. Happy days.

Man Utd are nearly as bad as we are, drew against Southampton and lucky not to get beaten today, pogba should have been off in the build up to there goal with a similar tackle to xhaka but nope as it's United it's fine.

Pagba's tackle was way more dangerous than Xhaka's - but as you say he plays for Utd, so different rules.

I think Utd have pissed a lot of money away.
Varane looked shaky at the back and is getting older.
How much longer has Ronaldo got left.
Sancho doesn't look worth 70m +.

Varane has never convinced me to be honest, always seemed a bit suspect when he was at Madrid, Sancho it remains to be seen but he was non existent today.

Difference is they won!

On a positive note, our players might get a rest during the international break. They could come back ready to win or Arteta will get the boot
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

They did but they were very lucky, imagine if they drew today, 4 points dropped in 3 winnable games, that's arguably a worse start than ours given the fixtures.
I think a loss against Norwich and Arteta is done, the fact he has gotten no points from these first 3 games means he has no leeway, if we had beaten Brentford and then lost the last 2 it wouldn't be as bad but as things stand there is no room for error.

It's all about the media narrative though.
That dictates the majority of views.
Varane was beaten in nearly all his defensive aerial battles today but that was reported as him being a 'Colossus' in defence.
I still have his absolute clown shows for RM fresh in the memory... Especially the game where he single handedly knocked RM out of CL.

You are right about the Norwich game. It's a must win to get us going

Varane is shit cos he kept a clean sheet and an assist

White is quality cos he got destroyed by a striker who's done nothing at PL level

Got to love Jay

Superb defence.
They said we'd be bullied. Erm, no. Ben White and Gabriel sent Barnes packing and bullied Wood.
Tomi was fantastic.
Ramsdale is the man.

Gabriel was very good by far the best CB today.
