This team has a mental toughness that's been lacking for years. I love the never-say-die attitude.

Well done to Arteta for fixing the rotten culture that had permeated the club.

To have turned this entire clubs culture around so quickly is bloody amazing.
I thought it would take 5 years it had got so bad.
Brilliant stuff.

Pepe saving the day. Let's reward him with a start or two.

Our depth in attacking midfield with Martinelli, Smith Rowe, Odegaard, Saka and Pepe all in form and fighting it out for three positions is mad!
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard
???/Havertz

It’s the longest we have been behind in a game we have gone on to win since the opening day of the 07/08 season
A 2-1 win at home to Fulham
Behind to a first minute goal by David healey
We equalised with an 84th min van persie pen
And won with a 90th min goal from hleb

Since the summer window closed, there has been a clear top 4. We've been closer to Liverpool than United.

Just a shame we (yet again) left our business too late and started the season unprepared.

Results are positive, 2 big games next against Watford and Leicester. Win both and we should be in the top 4 by that point, then it's on us to keep it.

Yup - not being prepared for this first 3 games (even with Covid) was not great.
All our new signings should have been done and dusted for game 1.
Since then it's been good.
Our record since Dec 2020 has actually been very good too. since that Chelsea game..

P48 W28 D8 L12
That's 1.92 points per game over a long period - consistent top 4 form for well over a year.
We now need to continue it for the rest of the season and then make the next step up in the 22/23 season where we need to be closer to City and Liverpool.

Expected a red card after a performance like that

Didn't get one

We're improving
