Ive become a big fan of this rebuilding project. Not totally sold on Arteta leading them but we’ve bought well the last couple of windows. Gabriel, Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, all look like fantastic bargains.

Odegaard could join them as well while Tavares and Lokonga look like solid building blocks for the future.

Then the academy kids look sharp. Saka and Smith Rowe are already fantastic plus guys like AMN, Azeez, Patino, Salah Eddine, etc all look ready to contribute in some way soon.

Im a convert.

I think we're in a position where even if it doesn't work out with Arteta we are building a good foundation for the next guy to come in.

Defensive signings do look good at least when we're not up against the top teams. Think the whole team loses their heads a bit in those games which is only natural when you setup like a bunch of pussies every time.

Tomi has been class and rarely gets beaten (odd sloppy backpass).
White has grown into the RCB role massively and been much better in the air than his first games
Gabi is a beast
Tavares been very dangerous barring the Liverpool game (he was a danger to us then!)
Tierney good to have him back and whipping balls in.
Ramsdale best signing of the summer and been incredible, a complete wall.

Solid options at the back, could do with a better backup CB though.

Lets hope Arteta genuinely wanted Saliba to get some experience and will bring him in the squad as soon as he can.
