Willian is enjoying his retirement. He wasn't called up for the NT this year, he won't make WC next year either.

Arteta won't play him during the season either, just you watch. He's just gilding his cage until his deal runs out.

.............. and Edu the genius was the only man dumb enough to give him that contract.

Like I said, between him and Arteta they're literally taking Stans millions and flushing them down the loo.

Its quite funny if it wasn't for the fact that those millions are mean't for our club.

Partey, inspite of being a top performer have not found his feet-again not entirely managements fault. Auba, the best player the season before, didn't do well-not entirely managements fault. Martinez was the 2nd choice after Leno, but played great late season and in the FA cup and wanted top billing - a tight call which went wrong- nobody has a crystal ball that shows the future crystal clear.
Again, senior playets Luiz, Xhakha, Leno making idiotic mistakes costing the team upwards of 10 pts- not entirely managements fault. 4-5 pts would have gotten us 4th spot not to talk of 10 pts.
seniors are supposed to lead from front not sink the ship. That's what those idiots did.
The management is inexperienced for sure but I wouldn't doubt their intentions. Many other managers would have made similar calls under the circumstances. It is all about hit or miss. When it misses, you're 4pts short and end up 8th when a bit of luck could have got you 3rd. Fine margins.
Other teams, Chelsea, ManU, Spuds been yo-yo most season but lucked out in the end. None showed much certainty in anything anymore than Arsenal really.

Mikel, stop posting on here and go coach the team, you c***

Chelsea offer him a 2 year deal, Edu and Mikel rush in to offer 3. This is the result.

Its sad that we pretty much all already knew this would be the outcome of this dodgy signing when we got him last season.

And why would he agree to be released when he’s on 200k a week?

If he plays anything like he did against Rangers yesterday, he is honestly more of a liability than anything for us, and I would prefer if he didn't play at all. The guy literally just goes through the motions, he does not express any attacking intent or creativity. This isn't to say that it's not there. He definitely has such in his locker. But when your goal is to act like you are doing something, and not to actually do something, that becomes easily visible. His predictability sickens me, and it hurts our attacking movement. This is not even to mention how his laziness actually prevents us from moving forward. On more than one occasion in yesterday's match we were actually blocked by Willian in building attacking motions ... in build up we reach his wing and he does not make a sprint wide or forward - this literally serves to prevent our chances of crafting out a solid chance. Even our lovely lethargic Bellerin was expecting these kinds of runs, and misplaced a pass because of the confusion in expectations. Making such runs cannot be that hard, and it all comes down to whether winning matters at all to Willian at this stage, which does not seem to be the case. I don't want to believe that Willian is such a vile and plastic footballer but he is not giving me any reason to think otherwise. Karma ought to get him for so easily forgetting the passion that drove him to such highs. I don't even want to talk about the salary expectation he pushed for Inter Miami.

His last season for Chelsea, he scored 9 goals and 7 assists in 36 premier league games. His best season ever in a Chelsea shirt. He joins us and falls off a cliff. Wonder what happened?

Do you know how contracts work? Arsenal choose to release him and pay the remaining salary.

Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for 32-year-old Brazilian winger Willian as they try to reduce their wage bill. (Star)
