He is doing a little bit of what's expected of him. This is minimum of what has to do as an experienced senior player on a very good wage.
Because he and Pepe haven't been performing we are 10th as opposed to 2nd or 3rd.
Expect 8-10 goals and 10+ assists from him and 12-15 goals from Pepe with equal number of assists.

Taken him 3/4 of the season to turn up, nice and all that but just not enough and shouldn’t have been given so many chances, chances sole players don’t seem to get.

Great - shows up for the opening game of the season and then the 26th. The other 24 were complete rubbish, but hey, no matter.

I say better late than never. If he finds form now and gives us another potent attacking option, will take it w/both hands. 14+ games to go, and all are important.

He didn’t play in 7 of the games though
I thought he was good in the home game against Man Utd when he came on
He made an impact
He did miss a big chance though

As long as he keeps it up.

Guys been sulking for months, about time he got over it and focused on repaying his actual employers than pining for Chelsea.

He'll keep on getting opportunities to play. Arteta wanted him so he'll keep trying to make it work. This is an example of a coach fully backing a player and showing support. I'd respect it more if players like AMN, Saliba and Martinelli had this sort of backing. It's important for young players to have that reassurance. I feel a way about a former Chelsea player walking in, taking on a massive salary and playing crap for months but still getting the benefit of the doubt.
