I respect the fact that he's looking to move on and not waste more time. We've seen too many players dig their heels in, run their contract down and take the money. If we can get shot of him clean and not have to continue paying the majority of his wages, hats off to him not being a leach.

The players Arteta loaned out are still getting paycheques with Arsenal FC on the letterhead. He saw this, and wanted in.

He'll probably with Miami, with us covering half his wages until his contracted period is up, which runs for another 2 years.

Most of Willian's starts happened during the six months that Gabi was out, so I didn't include him. His lack of minutes is more down to Arteta using Auba and Pepe as LW after finally dropping Willian.

Spare a thought for Willian. He left Chelsea believing Arteta that we would win the CL in three years. And then Chelsea win it the year he leaves :rofll:

He's not alone. It's been an odd season for this sort of thing.

Gabriel and Pepe leave Lille. Lille win Ligue 1.
Partey leave Atletico. Atletico win La Liga.
Elneny leave Besiktas. Besiktas win the Turkish League.
Emery gets fired. Emery wins Europa League.

............ yes, I too respect the fact that he hates us so much he can't disguise it, even for all the money he can get. :rofll:

At least we know where we stand with a guy like that, he can't stand us, we can't stand him, lets agree to part ways asap.

Then we're all happy.

Effectively he wants what we all want lol, gotta love it.

Arsenal will have to find another club if they hope to offload Willian this summer, with The Sun reporting that his wage demands have put paid to a potential move to Inter Miami.

The curse of Arteta continues.

Watch him sit on the bench for a year while Willock, Nelson and Saliba get loaned out again.

It still baffles me how he went from a great last season at Chelsea to complete pants.

Yes and why a horrible curse it’s been, can’t wait for it to be over.

Yep just seen it, greaaat.

Another complete utter fk up from Edu, he and Arteta are a poor team, completely under qualified and Kroenke is so clueless he doesn't know if Edu is doing a bad job or not, who's going to tell him, his Accountant Vinai?

Fkin blind leading the blind at AFC.

Of course wages are an issue, Edu the master negotiator gave this Chelsea agent a multimilliin bonus to be paid out over over the length of the contract.
