His physical attributes are so good, he should have been much better for us. Even at 32, he can outpace most outfield players barring Saka and Tierney.

This guy basically turns up and scores a goal when the season is over, what a player!

The main problem is mental not skill wise.

He simply doesn't like us, he's Chelsea through and through, he only came here because we were the only club who offered him a Golden retirement parachute, he's come here to put his feet up a collect a cheque.

Go figure, the one time he does score we're already 2-1 up and have won the game.

Would of been nicer if he scored when were level or something.

Anyway, he's not exactly going to get better next season, he'll be older, more tired and worn out, more ready to get out the pipe and slippers, richer and in cruise control.

It was a terrible idea among many terrible ideas to sign him.

I don’t actually think he’s a bad player just the manager and his lack of effort, look at him last season at Chelsea was basically the best player they had.

According to the Athletic, he is one of at least 5 players that want to leave:

https://theathletic.com/2580688/2021/05/12/arsenal-and-absence-how-lack-of-experience-across-club-is-causing-cracks-in-rebuild

More broadly, Arteta’s approach to press conferences has occasionally ruffled feathers: there has been a clamour for more honesty, less hubris. “Too much of what Mikel says publicly is not true,” says one Arsenal insider. “We can all see what is happening on the pitch and he should have spoken the truth: we did not deserve to reach the final. That’s the reality.”

There are other rumblings of discontent. Staff are under the impression that at least five senior players — David Luiz, Willian, Bernd Leno, Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin — want to leave the club.

Has anyone offered to drive him to Heathrow? It’s the least we could do.

Arsenal have received no interest for Willian, despite making it know he is available nobody is interested in paying a geriatric 200k a week.

I can see clubs in Italy signing him for no fee. He’s worked with Conte and Sarri so there may be interest there.

But it's not really "No Fee" - we gave him a three year 10m a year deal - so that's 20m left to pay ... he can "do an Ozil" and get another 20m from us for contributing very little, or somebody else will have to match that 20m ... that's insane for a player well past his best.

Bro, I’m talking about transfer fee. If you add transfer fee to his wages it’s a no go. But if you offer him to inter or Juve for no transfer fee you may see interest. Their managers rate him and his experience would be good in Italy. With us he seems disinterested and boy wonders tactics don’t seem to work for him.
