From that Younggunsblog article; that sort of answers your question there, IMF.

At least hes actually a fan, so will be busting his left nut to get a game for us.

Hes also half English who has played in our country for his whole life, so he might be of the Ramshire mentality (ie stiff upper lip type dude that aint afraid to mix it).

Its a signing people and a promising one (noise had been made about this kid before we signed him) so lets give him a chance and welcome him into the fold.

On to the other signings now Wenger....

I've got a Charlton mate who I asked about this guy. Apparently he got into the squad through an injury to someone else, then immediately impressed. People expected him to keep his place for the rest of the season because he impressed for another 7 games... then he refused to commit beyond this season, and because of that he was dropped.

Back up RB? Could mean the end for Eboue? Also would add height if he came on to defend a lead against the likes of stoke and blackburn. I'm not against this.

I still don't rate him. Better RB's (young as well) in that division.

sound like its done...

The Finnish Football Association have confirmed that Arsenal have signed Carl Jenkinson from Charlton Athletic. A compensation package of around £1 million has been agreed.

Arsenal moved for Jenkinson two months ago, after he rejected a new contract with Charlton. The life-long Gooner quickly agreed terms with the Gunners, but the two clubs have been thrashing out a compensation package, as Carl is under 24.

A fee of around £3 million was initially debated for the right back, who can play anywhere along the back four or in midfield. Both parties agreed on a figure two weeks ago, and now the Finnish FA have confirmed the transfer, listing Jenkinson as a player from ‘Arsenal FC’.

You can catch a full interview with a Charlton youth writer about Carl in the coming days.

I hope Eboue doesn't leave. I admire his mannerisms
