Could be but he doesn't ask Auba or Nketiah to do the same when they play as striker. They tend play off the shoulder more.

Whatever the instructions are they are working as Laca is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the league this year.
So just keep on doing the same - and above all, quit dropping him.
