Also, good players don't need time to settle in.

Bergkamp took 7 games to score his first goal for us, Henry took 8.

Not sure if you are agreeing with me or not, the point i am making is I don't recall any top player needing a whole season to adapt to the Prem, after a few games they seem to settle in just fine.

Giroud scored his first goal for Arsenal on 26 September in the League Cup. His first Premier League goal came on 6 October. Laca has his work cut out.

I don't think it's a matter of how soon he scores the first goal.

It's more of settling in and consistently coming up with good performances and I think that will take time.

I don't know why people are worrying about him already.

Look how very little service he got in the Bayern and Chelsea games.

The one proper bit of service he got was from Ozil after he made a very good run off the defender. There will be a lot more of that to come.

Forget the friendlies out in China. Distaster from start to finish.

I'm sure we'll more of what he's all about in the Ems cup and community shield.

Yeah, only has about 2 months to score his first goal before Giroud and nearly 2.5 months to score his first league goal before Giroud

I think he'll be fine

After signing from Juventus in 1999, Henry also took his time to adapt to the Premier League and took eight games to score his first Arsenal goal

Thierry breaks his Arsenal duck in his ninth game for the club. He collects a pass from Tony Adams and fires a curling shot into the corner of the net at the Dell.

I'm talking about league games.

He scored in our eighth league fixture.

Exactly. The tour to China was a joke. I could not even figure out what formation we were playing in the 2 games.

Lacazette deserves a run of games to adapt tactically, technically and physically to the league. you cannot judge his usefulness this early. Ultimately he will be judged on his performances and not his stats from the past.

Can he become lethal and feared striker? Henry and Berg were legends and they could create somethin outta nothin. I like Lacazette but is this a little much expectations wise?

Don't think so. I think he's a very reliable player but doesn't strike me that way. Sanchez can do it though so it's ok.
