He is definitely a good player, good enough it to the the line, unfortunately he hasn't proved it yet and that is all that counts.

Wenger did not help him though he needed at least 10-15 full 90mins games.

With Peas arrival and the lack of trust it appears Wenger has in him I am not to optimistic about him being a success.

You could say that about every striker Arsenal have bought since Dennis Bergkamp pretty much. The only striker that you knew would be fine was Sanchez, he fits the Premier League perfectly and was not on a downward slope when we got him from Barcelona. which of Adebayor, Giroud, Chamakh, and Gervinho could even get close to Lacazette's scoring record especially in their last season with their respective clubs, before coming to Arsenal ?? Which of them proved anything at the top level ?

2 reason whyi dont see laca hete

1. He cost 53 million. We are not gonna keep 55 and 53 million strikers

2. Laca unlike many of the trash wenger insisted on has market. Just like gervinho clubs will come in for him

I support the signing of laca we needed a striker for years, if a top proven striker is unavailable then you have to take a risk with someone with a great record in a lower league, sometimes they work sometimes they don't, so far laca hasn't worked but at least we now get someone who is proven.

Prefer to take a risk than stick with a giroud or welbeck season after season when they clearly aren't good enough.

Pea is proven he has done it against top teams in the cl

I hope he does but I'm seriously struggling to think of a poacher type player who has done well under Wenger.

In the PL, SAF used the little pea well in that role

Looks an absolute shell. Mentally weak.

Might as well admit he's a flop, let's hope Lyon or some French team would be willing to pay us half the money we wasted on him.

He’s been handled poorly by Wenger tbh. Not making excuses for his poor form but we all know Wenger has a habit of destroying good players.

The sooner he leaves the better.
