says the call up was late, probably feels undervalued and does not want to be a bench warmer for them

Yep.

He’s right to f**k them off. They only want him when everyone else pulls out.

Good guy!

He deserved one ages ago. Not because someone got injured.

Now he stays fit for our next game. We need him.

Its not salty its about respect.

The guy has scored more goals in one game than Giroud has all season but he couldn't even make the squad that won the WC all because Deschamp's is sipping the same Olivier coolaide Wenger was.

After missing out on the WC win he must be feeling like "Fk you" and so would I.

Didier has made it clear he doesn't think France needs Lacazette .............. so, don't use him.

Dechamps ...........
"But he has been rather good for his club, and his scoring statistics are of a very good level. With the French team he has already done some interesting things, and some other less interesting things."

Less interesting than you sticking with a striker who failed to score once in an entire WC tournament?

No wonder Laca fked them off.

Laca made the right decision. He's been an afterthought for Deschamps, so why give Deschamps the satisfaction of allowing himself to be a marionette.

I get wanting to represent your country, but dignity has to count for something.

I am not a fan of giroud but he obviously fitted the style Deschamps wanted and whatever anyone thinks of giroud they won the world cup so Deschamps got it right whether it was good judgement of luck it was still right.

Ditto, I see this as him giving Deschamps the finger - and rightly so !
