Feel for him, he's working hard but just can't find the net. He's not world class, but he's better than his current form I believe.

There's nothing wrong with him. He just needs to be played in. We need to move defenders around and open space for him to operate in.

He is struggling, doesn't seem to have the confidence to run with the ball

One word.

Morata.

In the end of the day we and a lot of teams have one striker, every team used to play two, now think about how difficult it is in today's defensive climate to be the lone man up front surrounded, big teams have WC strikers and WC Wing Forwards alongside them, we do not.

No Sanchez to play to him, no Ozil .......... what was he ever going to do getting service from the likes of Iwobi and Welbeck?

Im confident Lacazette will start banging in the goals again-he’s too good not to.

However the excuses her on GW aren’t valid. If giroud had been playing the way laca has everyone would be blaming him for his lack of pace, and or would be pointing the finger at him for the reason we’re not scoring. Bottom line is laca hasn’t been anywhere near good enough for the past several game. He’ll turn it around, but for now he hasn’t been anywhere near good enough.

needs a strong midfield behind him. AOL has worked nice but welbeck and iwobi aren't adequate rotation options and alexis is off. need two forwards imho

He's a solid player, but the whole team is low on morale and his play is suffering as a result. He's no worse than Morata on current form.

He's always been a goal every two games striker .... he had a blinding 2016/7 with 37 in 45 but that was in a lower level league ... at International level he plays for a top side, but of course the opposition is tougher, at that level he's managed 3 in 16 .....

He will be a 'goal every two games' player for us ... but that's all he will do ... just 29 assists in 264 appearances tells us that ....

He's never going to be a solo striker, not a Kane, Salah, Aguero, Lukaku, Henry, RvP who can be relied on to get >50% of their teams goals ....

As part of AOL he was OK, without that level of support he's always going to struggle ... it's classic Wonger square peg in a round hole, his confidence will go and like Giroud before him he'll end up looking lost ... that's if he doesn't already ......

He's a very good player, but as with all players use him in the wrong way and he'll look very average .....

I've said the same for Giroud too, no striker can prosper with that disgusting midfield behind him

I wonder how long it will take before people realize that Wenger is the problem.

Jeez.

This is the reason why I don't want any top quality player or a highly talented youngster to join Arsenal as long as Wenger is here. No Malcolm, no Lemar, no anyone. Just stay away. It would be fatal to play under a delusional and obsessive Wenger - for a club with no ambition where shills like John Cross act as the voice of reason and "customers" parade their "rationality/neutrality" by being sympathetic towards the "situation" - acting oblivious of the countless times Arsenal have screwed up this decade.

Frankly, Arsenal fans are amongst the most spineless lot of fans. No, I'm not talking about those redundant protests. We simply are masters of finding excuses for everything and anything that goes on inside Arsenal.

No goals in 8 now. Amazing how we can't deliver crosses for target man, or balls in behind for strikers like Lacazette. Wonder what we can do without Ozil and Sanchez lol, pass it to death?

Lacazette is not good enough to be a lone wolf. He needs the support cast to be effective. He is not a striker who will is capable of carrying a team on his own. He can be made to look good or bad depending upon how the manager uses him and the kind of support he has around him.

Lacazette is a very good finisher but is low on confidence now. His strength is close control and finishing. He isn't strong in the air nor he does he have afterburners to outsprint defenders. He has to be used in a certain way to make sure his strengths shine through. He himself has to understand that there is no harm in dropping deep or drifting wide on occasion to drop his trail and make space for others.
