One more year on 9.5m then at 30 on a free transfer he will go and negotiate his final big payday somewhere sunny ... Arsenal will have filled his bank balance nicely for five years and got less and less in return for their 100m investment ... can't blame the player, he saw a opportunity to mug us off and he grabbed it. Once again total incompetence from the senior management, nothing new there.

If we can sell then we must, but who will want to pay 9.5m salary and a transfer fee for a player who will be 'free' in 12 months.

False 9 role made life easy for Liverpool to play a highline and keep us pinned back. Game was in front them the whole time.

The system is on the manager, nobody else.

And Laca was miles better than Auba yesterday!

In the role he plays, the onus is on the wide players to break beyond him and the opposition defence but both were too lazy and shit. Didn't help that nobody was really getting the ball into Laca much.

Laca was one of the only players for us that actually put in a decent effort.

Made some good passes in the middle of the field. Which is what you want in a striker.

Worked pretty hard but we don't want him playing that deep.
We can't rely on Auba because of his terrible finishing.
Maybe it's time to start Martinelli as CF.

Exactly. 13 passes all night. 65% pass completion. Two big chances missed. Top top quality.
