Thank you, Laca: Lacazette set to leave Arsenal

Postby liam_cork » Wed Nov 10, 2010 2:01 pm

England's biggest clubs are watching Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette.

French sources say Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool are all monitoring the 19 year-old attacker.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been monitoring the player closely since he played in the Emirates Cup in the summer and the talented forward has now also began to attract interest from North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool are also interested with new football director Damien Comolli well aware of Lacazette's talent from his time in charge of St Etienne.

Gonna turn out to be a top player. Watched him in the U19s in the summer.
I reckon he'll remain at Lyon for now. He's getting good schooling there.

He will be a top prospect but I think this is one for perhaps, PERHAPS, summer - Not January though.

He's from Lyon. Wenger and Aulaus are not the best of mates, they'd never sell him to us.
They sold Ben Arfa to l'OM a couple of years ago so we don't get him.

His name reminds me of the Chevrolet Lacette from Top Gear.

He's perfect for our left side which is exactly where he plays for Lyon. Left forward just as Walcott is right forward. He has pace to burn and has great movement.l Most importantly he takes on people and loves to make runs behind defenders.

I was so sure he played next to Gomis supporting him but anyway Im not keen on the guy, matter of fact, Im not keen on any attacker from France. We've not been very successful with french signings in the attacking department at all.

For me our attack wont improve much with just 1 striker, even if that striker is Falcao. What we need is change in personal. we need runners and dribblers. This is why I would sign this guy and Drmic guy. Both are quick, can dribble and finish. We should look to Liverpool and follow their lead. The club should sell the 3 strikers we have now and never ever sign another target man

Just read we're looking in to this guy but Liverpool have contacted his agent. Never heard of him but his youtube video makes him look to have bags of potential. Calm in front of goal like Terry Henry. I know you tube means nothing though
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.
