I agree, brother. It should be:

Alexis - Giroud - Laca
------------ Ozil

His first touch was an absolute horror show yesterday, even mine wouldn't have been that bad

I think some need to temper their expectations.

IMO, he is a very good striker, not an exceptional one. And I think people have their hopes set on exceptional and are bound to be disappointed using that benchmark.

Also, you have to be fair to him. He is new to PL so I think you have to give him a year to settle in, get adjusted to the pace, and gain his confidence.

Like others, after starving for so long, I want instant gratification from our big money striker signing but in reality its being unfair to him and will only add unnecessary pressure.

Really hope he bags one in either the charity shield or the first game of the season, will do his confidence a world of good

Once a 50m player fails to bag in the first three or four games panic starts to settle in

He will score goals, dunno why people are worried.

Also, good players don't need time to settle in. Nobody thought Ozil would do well in the Prem but look what he did in his first season, Sanchez looked at home immediately too. Look at David Silva, Aguero, Torres, all came here and had no problems.

Some players wont be suited to English football but I don't think good players need that long to settle.

Bergkamp took 7 games to score his first goal for us, Henry took 8.

8.

He scored in his eighth appearance -

After signing from Juventus in 1999, Henry also took his time to adapt to the Premier League and took eight games to score his first Arsenal goal
