Plenty of players haven't been the problem over the years but it didn't stop them being the scapegoat.

Giroud & Coquelin for example.

People have woken up and realized there is a reason Giroud starts in front of him for France ..... Giroud >>>> Lacca all day long .....

The same Giroud Chelsea would rather not play in a big game and have a midfielder upfront?

Whether or not Laca will come good or not remains to be seen. What is seen is Giroud didn't come good in 5 years he was here

Laca In 7 months is already at the same level Giroud was at after 5 years. He'll get better hopefully. Giroud never did so pining for the lamppost, I don't understand

the Giroud haters(90% of this forum) deserve our current situation. They thought it's all that easy, take giroud out and replace him with an inferior player like lacazette and all will be good. You see how this worked out

How is Lacca at Giroud level?

Giroud in 2017/8 has played 1010 minutes and scored 10 goals ..... Lacca 1822 minutes for 11 goals .....

So Giroud scores every 101 minutes whilst Lacca requires 165 minutes .... how the feck is that "the same level" .....

Also the minutes thing, I'd be a lot more impressed if Giroud got that while starting games. He didn't. All that shows he was an effective sub. Nothing more. We all know how bad he was when he starts. Chelsea seem to have clocked on and it didn't take 5 years

If he comes on as a sub and is 'that bad' .... then how bad must a starter be who score 50% less goals per minutes played? hmmmmmm

The bottom line is neither are top five EPL starting quality ...... bench players at best .....

Giroud did average for an Arsenal starting striker for 5 years of being here and got worse instead of improving.

Giroud showed us everything he had to offer and its not good enough, even his supporters admitted he shouldn't be starting ..........but now because he's sold his fanboys are turning on the team in their anguish, Ozil, Lacazette whomever.

Support Arsenal players (not Chelsea players) or gtfo of the club.

He's gone and you lot still pander over him like he's Messi ffs, more low life's craving for Giroud than they are for fkin SANCHEZ!!!!

Can you actually believe that statement, more low rent AFC fans pine for Giroud than they do Alexis fkin Sanchez .......... if that doesn't tell you all you need to know then I give up.

You lot are a cancer of this club, plain and simple.

Why don’t you compare Giroud’s first season to Lacca’s?

Give someone time ffs before you crucify them.

Thats because we spent 55m on lacazette. So we expect and demand him to be better than giroud, even in his first season.
