I acknowledge its going to take some luck as we will need other teams to do what we couldnt do; take points off of City.
But they have 3 games where I see potential for that slipup.

Everton away inbetween the Real Madrid tie and then Chelsea & Brighton right after Real Madrid.

I KNOW Chelsea is terrible this season but its still Chelsea.

KdB and Haaland aren't even a "duo." And they've played together for less than a season!

If you want to juggle around with random "duos," why not Mane and Salah; why not Drogba and Lampard?

I don't know ...... Keown went through a period when we had the Wenger troubles of being incapable of levelling any criticism at Wenger or the club.

And the comparison is silly. On pure numbers, fine, KDB and Haaland are phenomenal, but the quality of the goals, Henry and Bergkamp were on another level.

We’ve become like Spurs. And that’s probably the saddest thing about this situation. Losing leagues is fine as long as the fans can come and debate how many points we won and making comparisons with the Invincibles. It’s up there with Spurs releasing DVDs of seasons they won nothing. And then there’s the manager. We used to laugh at Spurs for praising Poch despite winning nothing. And now here we are. Bloody travesty.

Although the biggest difference between the invicibles and our 2022/23 team is power.

The invincibles had a lot of 6"foot + players not just in defence but midfield and attack. When things got tough we had more resilience to weather stroms of bad form and bully teams in attack on bad days.

Our current team has too many small lightwieght technical players in midfield and attack who cant bully opponents on bad days where we cant juat outclass our opponents.

What bottlejob mentality ?? As Starmandb confirmed, we had the joint second best defensive record in the league when Saliba got injured, now our defending has gone to pot. It has nothing to do with being bottlejobs, it has everything to do with not having good enough defenders as backup
