Few shockers in his time (particularly euro 2016) yes, every keeper not called Buffon or Neuer seems to have them. Lord knows Cech's been bang average for us.

Plus nowt wrong with the stats, Roma's defence was absolutely shocking for the last 18 months, they and Szczesny have got their shit together lately and improved.

Amount of shots saved per goal is a perfectly good stat, unless all the strikers are just shooting straight at Szczesny and not Cech? Seems likely

Anyway this is why I said Szczesny should move, dude will be respected at another club but fans here won't back him ever.

Tbf he f***ked up when he was here with his attitude, of course he can get respect but he has to work hard to earn it. He was young though and he is still only 26 which is still young for a keeper, going somewhere like Italy out of wengers nursery might have helped him mature a lot.

I would like to see him have anouther chance.

I agree he did, his decisions put him in a bad light then the smoking topped it off when he should've been working to get back in the team.


Thing is he never got credit when he was good and even the golden glove people credit MerteKos and say he had it easy ffs. I'd like him to have another shot but I feel he will always be doomed here, first mistake and he's crucified.
