Think everyone agreed with my expert take in Jan:

GK: Raya / New

RB: White / Timber
RCB: Saliba / New (1)
LCB: Gabriel / New (1)
LB: Calafiori / Skelly

AM: Odegaard / Nwaneri
DM: New / Merino
CM: Rice / New

RW: Saka / New
ST: New / Jesús / Havertz
LW: New / Martinelli

Out: Zinchenko , Kiwior , Partey , Trossard . Jorginho , Tomiyasu

Priority has to be new manager and DoF. Everything else is a waste of time.

Continuing to fund Arteta is throwing good money after bad. Guy is allergic to proven goalscorers and has yet to say no to a City/Chelsea salvage project.

We CANNOT have another half-arsed window.

And no fans enabled KSE and their BS by saying a truly SHIT window is 8 or 9/10 like last summer.

We need a wide forward back-up, number 9, and TWO cms. anything less than that is failure.

With our record club revenues, and most likely 24/24 will be high also, there is no excuse not to spend and get what we want.

I don't agree.

Any keeper we get will have to be a back-up. Either somebody very young and inexperienced or old like how Liveprool and City have done with Ortega and Kelleher.
CBs to complement Gab/Salba would have to be Kiwior levels, as no top-level defender will come and be on the bench. Gab/Saliba only don't play if its a cup game vs. a lower-level side, or if they're injured.
We do need new CMs, for sure, as well as attackers.

Trossard still can offer something, as can Partey.

I think Hein should be ready to compete w/ Raya by now. He should take up the backup position, but should get more game time than Neto.
We have Tomi as a standby RCB for Saliba. He's been excellent when fit and asked to play CB.
If he stays,( fit as well) , we should have no problems. Also White is a competent RCB as well, so , we shouldn't have any problem in rotating Saliba ,of necessary.

Time to play some 4D chess and buy back Ramsdale on a reduced fee and wages when Soton gets relegated. Backup GK at Arsenal is better than getting relegated for a third time with Burnley or Leeds next season.

22 man squad

I like HHb's Ramsdale idea too
Raya/Garcia
White/Timber--Saliba/Diomande--Gabriel/Calafiori--Calafiori/MLS
Partey/Zubimendi
Odegaard/Havertz----Rice/Merino
Saka/Nwaneri-------------------Williams/Martinelli
Sesko/Watkins

Ramsdale wold come back? he's too good to be a number 2. Man U needs a decent keeper, he should join them Onana has failed.

Ramsdale will go to Newcastle. Not good enough to be our number 2

That squad if it does materialise would have some real quality

Ramsdale won't happen though

Lol, you said you don't agree then proceeded to outline your view which entirely matches the OP - apart from Trossard and Partey

He never said what level player, just that a player is needed.
