Zubi plays in the heart of Spanish midfield, the reigning champions of EU,so there must be some justification in looking at him as a potential long-term replacement for Partey. Spanish football brains trust must have analyzed his capabilities before putting him in the middle of arguably the best national team in the world .
The arm chair experts on this forum immediately starts hem- hawing because 'inept' Arteta &Co have spotted him and are persueing him. He just can't be good at all!! Splendid!

loool. if true, theen WOW. He is living and dying on Havertz being it.

If this is the case then he actually needs to be sacked as he's clearly showing he doesn't know what talent he needs to take us forward so essentially he is just wasting transfer windows.

However, I believe once he buys Sesko / Gyokeres, they will be his new investment he needs to protect and Kai will be on rotation, I don't honestly see how Arteta can keep trying to insert him in the team, once we get a new striker, who's Kai benching?

It will be suicide for Arteta.

Like i said in the other thread it will be tough for any player to displace a guy that contributed to 36 goals in the 12 months leading up to his injury - in our system.

If we sign a player like Sesko, then it will be up to that player to win the place and perform better - very tough.
I actually hope whoever we bring in can do that. Improvement is always good. But the standard Havertz set is extremely high.

This is literally trolling mate.

........if genuine, the only thing I can put this down to is your version of standards is rock bottom, and if so probably not worth conversing with as what we want for the club will never align.

I want us to win things, you obviously want us to become West Ham.

Havertz contributing to 36 goals in the 12 months leading up to his injury is not trolling, it's a fact.
He himself did troll his haters on social media, though, which I found fully justified.

Again........your not counting this season, your trying to stretch the time to include half of last season because that was his best period, discounting the 1st half of last season which was poor.

Shame on you for ....yet again trying to manipulate the stats to suit your argument.

Count this season only, or just last season, don't overlap seasons.

He got 20 G+A this season before his injury (15 goals and 5 assists)
Just stop.

..and i was counting the 12 months up to his injury when he was playing as a CF.
36 G+A.
Excellent.

Absolutely nobody except one known moron and troll on here is shilling for Havertz

Let it go, it’s not a debate, and frankly seeing this churned up again and again because of one forum clown arse is tedious as fk

So your argument is, because he plays for Spain in midfield he has to be a good player and Arteta is not making yet another transfer mistake and people on the forum who know nothing are just criticising Arteta unjustly?

The Premier League is NOT international football, the latter is played at a much slower tempo and is less physical. When we bought Partey he was at least physically dominant in midfield for Athletico, a good trait that would transfer well to the Prem. When we bought Rice he too was physically dominant.

A lot of people have said that Zubimendi is not dominant at all, which is a fair concern to have, but because you cannot tolerate criticism of your lord and master Arteta you make a nonsense argument to defend him.

Does anyone really know enough about Zubimendi's game to make a good judgement?
During transfer window season chaos there always seem to be so many experts.
I do share the opinion that he maybe looks a but lightweight to play the role, but maybe it's best to see if we actually sign him and then if we do give him support.

He signs he will get support, and time to adjust, but like all they need to perform, football is results and performance based no matter who you are or cost, but as with anything in life higher cost, higher expectations

Arsenal potential starters-25/26 season:
Raya ( backups and competitors: Kepa{?} if he comes, Heinz [ should be ready for prime time])
White ( Tomi { hoping full recovery}) ,Saliba, Gabriel ( Kiwior), Timber( Zinchenko { if he stays} MLS),
Odegaard, Zubimendi/ Partey( if he stays) Rice ( Merino/ MLS),
Saka/ Nwaneri, Havertz ( new striker) , Martinelli/ Trossard . That's 21 . So there's still space for 4 more in the squad. Room for substantial recruitment.

He is full of shit !!

Another Arsenal mole, feeding disinformation to Arsenal fans. No greater proof than "be patient" and "wait and see".

I feel he's just recycling and paraphrasing what the better Arsenal journalists are reporting and 'confirms' their reports from his position as an 'insider'. Unless there's any evidence that shows otherwise, he's just a more savvy TRA/ArsenalNexus.

TNAT uses a similar playbook. For a while he used to (credibly) leak team line-ups an hour or so before the conventional media, but he then used that reputation to start Patreon account for 'exclusive news on everything that goes on behind the scenes at Arsenal'.

I wouldn't take their 'reports' as gospel. :Peace:
