Priority is the same as last year

Top Striker
Top Winger
Young DM

Getting other positions depends on whether Partey , Kiwior , etc stay etc

Agreed.

Partey is going Zubimendi is coming in I believe, unfortunately its not like for like, Zubi is no Partey, I saw him play recently against Utd.

Really we need 2x strikers but I suppose Havertz can play 2nd fiddle.....although Merino has matched if not surpassed his out put.

No.

He'll demand starting and he can't get in the team, also we have Nwaneri who plays the same position.

That's the other issue, Cunha is an attacking mid / no10......we don't have that position, closest we have is attacking 8 which is RCM (Odegaard).

i'd love to hear your specific observations... not a challenge... just that i like the way you analyze in the boxing thread and am interested how you would describe Zoob's play

He can't recover and take the ball off the opposition the way Partey does, can't dominate the space and isn't as physically imposing......I didn't see much evidence of him breaking the lines or through balls from deep either.

Simply wasn't as good all round, but to be honest Partey has few peers at the no6 position tbh.

No reason we can't keep Partey too.

Give him another year.

Jorginho is gone in the summer.

Partey / Zubi
Rice / Merino
Odegaard / Nwaneri

Plenty of game time and would give him a year to bed in

We know Mikel isn't one for competition though

That's about right for me as well. I'm going to continue as a 'Negative Nancy' and say now that I think the window, while not as disappointing as the last two, will be underwhelming. Obviously, really really hope I'm wrong, but I fear that with Liverpool spending what they made this season and didn't spend last summer, Chelsea doing their usual, Man City laughing at the 115 charges and spending big, Utd winning the Europa and suddenly finding the money they couldn't pay the cleaners, we will struggle to secure the erm, top top qualiteee we actually have targeted and will need.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

I have a bad feeling we'll sign Antony as an alternative to Cunha, taking him off Utd's hands for a fat fee. Just scored another WC goal for Betis to take them to the Europa Conference final.

We have to do some serious activity in the summer

Liverpool will strengthen

City have already strengthened and a re-married Pep will be back with a vengeance

Chelsea will likely have CL and again sign some top players

Man United will also likely have CL and we're told could go on to spend £200m+
