Yeah, that's ridiculous.

All we need is to keep most of the squad and add a LW and most importantly a striker.

.....added to the Zubimendi deal.

Partey , Jorginho , Zinchenko , Nelson ,Vieria, Ramdale , Tierney , Sambi , Tavares , Marquinhos , Sterling , Neto all leaving

People are underestimating the number of players we will sign in the summer imo

Not all of them will be starters but since Zubi and Sesko have buy out clauses totalling ~£100m we will easily have the money for another £100m outlay

Partey - £10m per year
Jorginho - £7.5m per year
Sterling - £7.5m per year
Zinchenko - £7.5m per year
Ramdale - £6m per year
Tierney - £5m per year
Nelson - £5m per year

And then you have the likes of Sambi , Vieria , Tavares , Kiwior , Tomiyasu who will all very likely be sold for a transfer fee

Zinchhenko, Nelson and Tomiyasu need buyers, they are all under contract.

We got a guaranteed £18m from selling Ramsdale and will get €9m for Tavares to Lazio. Not very much considering how much we'll realistically need to spend.

Isn't Zinchenko in talks with Dortmund ?

Nelson has done pretty well at Fulham and is still young and homegrown

Tomiyasu if I'm right will have 1 year left on his deal in the summer , also £5m per season. I can see the club accepting a lower offer - there were clubs in for him during the summer so I can't imagine they'll just disappear - especially since he's now close to full fitness.

Here is what I'd hope we can do:

Ramsdale - £25m
Zinchenko - £20m
Trossard - £20m
Vieria - £15m
Kiwior - £15m
Tomiyasu - £10m
Lokonga - £10m
Nelson - £10m
Tavares - £7m

That's £132m

And then you have the huge wages saved on Partey , Tierney , Jorginho , Sterling

Sesko and Zubimendi both have ~£50m release clauses. No reason we can't sign both and still have a good sum of money left over to sign more players.

We ain't even got a guy who can do any transfer deals, we have a guy who did what he was told by Edu and Arteta.
I have more chance of becoming Pope

We will either sign nobody or a loan for some washed up waster like Sterling, Ceballos, Suarez etc

Next season we will have a huge amount of academy players, we have too much transfer work to get through and no one to manage it.
We need to sign a person who can run the fucken club before we do anything.

How can you get rid of 8 players and buy only 2?
You need to have a roster of 25, isn't it?
You have 132mil and w/ it buy only 2 to replace 8?
You'll have to invest another 200mil extra to get 6 more players.
Start talking some sense for a change!
A draw and immediately change the whole team!!!

Do you think seriously that we have anybody at the club that can do that amount of transfer work.

It's not going to happen.
Next season will be relying on academy players and dross left that we can't off load.

Can you not count ?

My earlier post said:
1 x GK
1 x CB
2 x Mid
2 x Winger
1 x Striker

Another posted responded saying that would cost over £300m

I said Sesko and Zubimendi being the big signings , both have release clauses of ~£50m.

We can raise £130m+ from departures and can comfortably spend another £100m to be within PSR regs, especially when you factor in all the high wage players that are departing.

There's also the chance of promoting within the academy as we've done with Ethan and Miles this year.

Also loan deals again for the backup positions (i.e GK)

Maximum of 2 EPL loans and a maximum of 4 loans total per season.and a loan player is generally someone NOT good enough for parent side so how is that good enough for us

Wouldn’t bother signing anyone in January. There’s no need after today’s results.

Because they wouldn't be starters

Neto will leave and we need a backup GK

Why spent big money on someone that likely won't play. Arteta hates rotation , even among GKs. So better to get someone on a free / loan with a small fee.
