I'd isak really that clinical though ?

Newcastle get a lot of space for him to run in behind

And he always seems to miss a few fair few guilt edge chances when I watch him

I guess the plus is he's 25 , tall , fast and seems a good personality

Newcastle will inevitably ask for big money though

So I can see us going for Sesko

The funny thing is..........

No striker including Gyokres or Isak would of been better than Jesus has been this week, which is funny and tragic at the same time because its not likely that Jesus can keep this up.

I think we do need to buy a CF, for Arteta he will use this week to say we don't need to buy......or if you actually want to win something like us fans do, you could actually see this week as the exact reason we need a potent CF because Jesus has just demonstrated what we've been missing and we need to ensure we have moving forward.

Every striker misses a lot, and , when its not their team's day, i.e, they drop points, they look terribly ordinary. When his team was purring Haaland looked like a God, but now? Nowhere close, and he can't bail them out.
Even with Henry ( wasn't a CF, was an allround mobile forward, one of the greatest ever) and Wright we drew and lost a lot and felt frustrated, irritated, etc. Not to speak of the days w/ Adebayor and RVP.
As I have said before, we shared goals last two seasons and got 88 , 91 respectively. If we had a central striker we probably would have got the same numbers and still come up short; others would have scored less and given up their chances for the Central striker.

I don't think you understand just how prolific Gyokeres has been !!

Last season in match days 14, 15 and 16 he got 2 goals and 4 assists. Then in match days 18, 19 and 21 (there was no match day 20 by the look of it) he got 5 goals. Then in match days 23, 24, 25 and 26 he got 6 goals and 2 assists. Finally, match days 30, 31 and 32 he got 5 goals

Fast forward to this season and in match days 1 to match day 6 he scored 10 goals and got an assist. Matchdays 8, 9 and 10 he scored 6 goals.

Gyokeres goes on scoring sprees regularly, not one off like Jesus.

Arsenal are reportedly set to make a £62million bid for Barcelona defender Jules Kounde in January.

According to reports in Spain, the French international is keen on a move to England, with Mikel Arteta seeing the ex-Sevilla man as a solution to Ben White's injury problems.

Media rumours, until I see something concrete from the club or by trusted sources I will ignore what I see.

Don't need a striker
We need a dead ball specialist and two or three NBA players who can head the ball

What’s the point in buying in winter when players like Nwaneri and Myles are ready but not being given chances?

Better not be.

But what makes this worrying is it would be typical Arteta, need a ST, buys a CB.

The Stirling loan was always a panic move

We should have moved early in the window for a top winger or striker as everyone here said

Difficult in January but we have to get it done

Olmo might be available this window. Why aren't we in on this?

If we have aspirations of winning the league we have to beat the norm and buy a massive goal scoring forward in this window, I ain't picking a name, but it's a must have, currently our best attacking tool is out for 6 weeks.it is right now we are going to see how serious and how much importance the people of power place on an Arsenal title.
Should we buy big and fail I will accept the outcome albeit imo we should have had a CF seasons start.
But should we not bring a CF in I will be absolutely fkd off.
