Real is the ultimate test. If we get past them we should win the whole thing

Result was to be expected. A draw was relatively fair, but then a good win would have been great for our confidence.

Real Madrid are favourites, and anybody who really says otherwise is kidding themselves. Player for player they're better. They are still the current holders of the CL. And Ancelotti is a GOAT-level coach, up there with Pep, Mourinho, or Sir Alex Ferguson for that matter.

The first leg is perhaps crucial for both sides. They'd be looking to get at us and then have an easy game at the Bernabeu, similar to the Manchester City tie. We should really be looking for.a win in the first leg and expect a massive barrage at their place. We can look back to 2006, when despite having Henry, it was the worst Wenger side to date at that point. Especially as many of the Invicibles had got old or had started to move on.

We can beat Real Madrid, but we're kidding ourselves if we think we're not underdogs.

Congrats, Miles. Hard luck, Ethan. Both should have got in the squad.

Zero penetration. We should be hammering Chelsea and United. Taking revenge for the Fergie and Mou years. Instead we are squeaking past them. Frustrating.

I think they have lost a bit of confidence in themselves. Especially in PL. They are afraid to take chances and look for safety first.
No chance of winning the league with this mindset.
The PL is over ( actually was over 2 weeks ago) for us

Most sensible thing you have said all season.
Playing with out a proper striker is confidence breaking how surprising

12 point gap, hopefully Newcastle beat them in the Carabao Cup and the rest of their season unravels.

Pool have been Lucky! Salah piggy backed them all along. Also very lucky w/ injuries.
That they are just above average ( like us) and not extraordinary has been proven in CL and again today at Carabo.
