City's demise and Spurs FAILING is oh so sweet.
Media bigger up Ange but he's clearly LIMITED. They only like his personalty and no-nonsense Aussie gruffness.

I could take pleasure in Spurs and City flopping if we hadn't flopped as well !

It's tottenham. no other reason than that. City being crap this season is just funny given how dominant they've been. makes it easier for us to catch Liverpool without them being good.
I will laugh at Spurs to the ends of the Earth.

No I can't take that mentality, just because its Spurs

That is a small club/Spursy mentality - if we are shit I hope Spurs are shit. Nah mate, we come first, I want us to be good first and foremost, us both being shit doesn't make me feel better at all, we are almost always better than Spurs.

Spurs are our rival and enemy. i will forever laugh at their shit results. they SHOULD laugh at ours. Fans mock their rivals, it's in the blood. It's funny cos it's Spurs. that's it. I take delight in their shit results and they should in ours. rivalry never stops irrespective of how good or bad we or they are. It's culture and goes deep. it is what it is. it's nothing to do with them or us being shit. it's TOTTENHAM. i will forever laugh at them. they're the enemy. i hope they never stop laughing at OUR bad results.

We didn't play well today, but so what? It may be an unpopular view, but then we beat sides 5-0, literally four games in a row, last season, but we won nothing.
We were top of the league for 90% of games in 22/23 but didn't win the league.
A crappy win alone doesn't mean shit. Neither would it if we beat Ipswich 5-0 tonight. It's way too limited to say it means anything.

It wasn't a boring game really. Had good opportunities and runs from the deep, which opens up another dimension. We didn't score more goals but there were other aspects of the attack which has promise. Happy that we got a field goal.

Beat Ipswich 1-0 - boring, shit, dead.

So if we beat them 5-0 - YES, we're gonna win the league!! ReallY???

still a LOT of football to be played.

i get good performances breed confidence. but we should learn from the past two seasons. good form and wins don't persist. gotta take shit game by game. with 19 more games to go in the league, anything can happen between now and the end of the season

But so what??

The problem has been there all season, ineffective attack, not creating enough. When you see Liverpool flying and we are struggling to beat fodder you should be worried, because there is no sign that we will find or regain form. And now we have lost our most effective player to injury, things are not going to get better quickly !

Certainly not ineffective in attack. Two open nets missed ( Havertz. Gabriel) , and number of excellent saves by GK and defenders ( Rice,Odegaard, Merino, etc). We could've walked away w/ 3-0, 4-0, too.

So then yeah, if wed' have won 5-0, it means we will definitely win the league. Yet that could still prove meaningless at the end of the season.
we beat Sporting 5-1 away when City lost there 4-1.
Liverpool scraped past Leicester but then they were always gonna beat them.
Still a LOT of football to be played.

do fans really think that slapping Ipswich 5-0 at Christmas would mean anything? Were they around last season, when we beat West Ham, Sheffield United and Brighton 5-0? But still finished runners-up.
I dunno. Just way too limited a sample size to judge, IMHO.

Just keep winning, and, create pressure on the leader. Try to win by a 2 goals margin to keep our blood pressure normal! That's all!

So you don't think missing 2 open goals is being ineffective in attack lol ??

Thats exactly what it is bro
