All of this was predicted.
1. Over dependence on 3-4 players and risk of injuries to them
2. Lack of creative and striking options while doubling down on defensive options
3. Risk of game plan being worked out and over dependence on set piece goals

Nobody should be surprised.

In 7 of the last 10 seasons, the league winner had 91 points or more. This season Pool look good for 87-93 pts, we'll be lucky to get 80.

The squad and manager don't have the mentality to get 90+ points. Chasing the league was a fool's errand, all we have now is a bunch of tired players who after 4 seasons of pushing, are coming up empty again and almost certainly have lost faith.

Cups should always have been the #1 target once CL was achieved. Instead Arteta has amassed a personal fortune selling the impossible dream.

Shoud have won last night. Forest weren't up to it. The Kiwi Haaland was anonymous.
But then apparently, we don't need a striker, according to some fans.

Funny that Man U lost, and our feeder club Fulham beat them.

That's what it's come to. Laughing at Man U since they won't equal our FA Cup record.

The problem this season is right in front of us.
Because of all the injuries,we can't perform consistently game to game,no matter who the opposition is.
One day we can play a ManCity or another top team out of the park, on the next GameDay ( especially if it's a midweek game) , we'll come out flat. Players find it hard to keep up the same level of performance in short intervals.
Imagine if we had Saka, Havertz, Martinelli, Jesus, Nwaneri, Merino, all options on the table.
We would have been far more competitive than what we're right now. So, unfortunately, it'll be a grind this season, ebb and flow.

I was not expecting PSV to be that crap.

Bring on Madrid - Los Blancos or Atletico, i do not care!!

if we lose the second leg vs. PSV, Arteta out!

Everytime you make this weak-ass argument I will shoot it down! It has nothing yo do with injuries and has everything to do with our style/system of play.

Injuries dont make your entire attack dead for multiple games then look great the next game. We played with more intent to get the ball forward, we didnt knock it across the back four all game

Overlapping fullbacks made a difference too, look how many times Timber, MLS and Calafiori were in the attacking box or at the edge of it.

Meanwhile Bieith has scored 10 goals in seven games for Monaco. And Heaven and Obi Martin have made their first team debuts for United. Arteta needs to answer for this. Why is he crying about a small squad while letting our best talent leave for big clubs?

100%
It's quite the fluke skelly and Nwaneri are getting the time they are imo.
Good chance we lose Nwaneri as well we have peeps saying he will bring back Viera now if I were a agent of a young player with Nwaneri skills and talent, if I saw a player like Viera come back as back up to Ode in the possition I favor and have played my whole career until Arteta I would be advising him to get out of dodge,he Is already better than Ode.

Again Odegaard and Nwaneri are very different players at this stage. There's no comparison.
Fabio Vieira could play midfield as well as a winger, hence the suggestion. He isn't good as Nwaneri or Odegaard in respective positions, but he can deputize in both if necessary.
He will be like Arteta replacing Fabregas.

So why was he sent on loan?

Because nobody imagined that we would have an epidemic of injuries.

Had nothing to do with his not being good enough or as many including myself too lite-weight.
He would have been better being loaned to a PL team ( but no one wanted him) or imo a championship team to learn the dynamic and physicality of English football.
Imo he will be no different when he comes back
