I can’t say I’m that happy with the window, I agree that a striker was a priority and also cover/alternative to Odegaard.

Defence I wasn’t too concerned about though Califiore is decent.

Midfielder wasn’t really a priority for me either.

Cover for Saka is nice, but personally would have preferred a younger exciting talent.

Really rate Olmo as an attacking midfielder (Odegaard option), who can also play on the left.

Very good transfer window. Good enough to win the league. Never thought striker was needed in current Arteta system...and we didn't go for any.
Happy that we got another hugely experienced mobile forward and got a decent midfielder ( accidental injuries have nothing to do with recruitment).
Sold number of fringe players for good money, 89 million, also will get wage bills reduced from loans.
Also, hopeful that academy players, Skelly, Nwaneri, etc, will get ample opportunities to settle down in this set up.

I just don't understand going so hard for Sesko at the start of the window and then not going back for another striker at all. They clearly identified it as a position to improve but...chose not to.

Osimhen is going to Galataray, Toney went to Saudi, strikers were there if you really wanted them.

The excuse that there were none available doesn’t exist.

If we wanted a winger Williams was also available with a release clause.

Havertz is playing out of his skin at the moment and Haaland is outscoring him 2 or 3 to 1 !! What happens to us if Havertz gets injured, do we rely on Treatment Table Jesus who isn't that good at scoring? What about Scuffmaster Nketiah - oh wait he has gone anyway.

For everyone harping on about us not needing a CF, tell me what happens when Havertz is unavailable!!! What happens when Odegaard is f***ked?!!!

We are weaker up top this season than we were last season, I don't see how what we have is an improvement.

We've added to what we had last year - I don't see how winning the league is not possible.
We were 1 win short last year.

Man City had Haaland and De Bruyne out for a long period last year, two of their best players.

With Haaland in 31 games, they had 22 wins , 6 draws and 3 losses, scoring 76 goals (2.45 goals per game)
72 points out of 93 or 2.32 pts per game.

They were better without him last year - quite a lot better in terms of scoring goals and winning points.

DeBryune is fair - he's far more important to them.

I read somewhere that we'll make a massive bid for Sesko again next summer, that Arteta is not interested in other options. I get it tbh, he has tried to copy Pep pretty closely down to signing 3 of his players, and likely sees Sesko as his Haaland.
