Nah - never been a consideration for anyone serious since 21.
He's long since proven his doubters wrong.
The dredges of unserious people remain.

Btw if he finishes outside top3 and fails in 1/8 finals in the CL he should be sacked on the spot.

He should but won't be. Worst board in the business. Edu is regularly mocked by the clubs own fans ffs

Another season of failure and the fans patience will be very thin. He's survived many sackable incidents so far. Not sure how many he has left.

At least one a season

Edu is doing one of the best jobs in the business.Top2 in the league for sure , no idea why he gets so much mockery by the fans.

You must be the spokesman for his fan club, what a load of old bollocks "best jobs in the business" :rofll: :rofll: :rofll:

Agree
Our squad development has been magnificent. The journey from washed up / lazy players of poor character to a young squad full of talent putting the effort in week in week out to get Arsenal back to the top is truly remarkable. Mentioned this before. Brilliant job by Edu.

Can't sell players. Pays players to leave. Kept a manager who's not delivering and more.

Should have his invincible status removed

Can't sell players that have been signed mostly from previous regimes on unreasonable wages and contracts. We have young squad that can be resold easily each one of the starters.Ofc subs will be difficult to sell that are not playing.
This is not Football Manager or Fifa nobody wants to pay excessive sums for players that are worth close to nothing.Tell me 1 deal of a player we sold and he turned his career around after that under Edu.That case can be considered wrong sell or wrong price depending on the price point.
What u expected Aubameyang to be stripped of the captaincy kept at the bench and then reduce his wages and go somewhere else and make the club a favor? Not a chance and the rest we're just players that were worth nothing pretty much.

P.S.
IF u have a player thats age , skill , injury history or wages do not meet the buying club's idea for the player you cannot force anyone to buy them.Edu can only control the wages they're on and how old they are when ur looking to sell them generally.

Spot on - the fan base in general is full of armchair managers and sporting directors who've played too many computer games it seems.

Lol barca sold auba for 12m just months after edu paid him to leave and he single handedly got them CL football

We couldn't get 12m?

There's no defending Edu. He's been pretty poor

He was on insane wages at Arsenal and he was mad at being frozen out he was never going to accept being sold for cut wages he wanted his full wages paid till the end of the contract.Thats not something Edu can control.
Looks easy from the outside to sell players over 30 when being frozen out and on 300k + wages , but in reality good luck selling a player like that.

Right now we have the best squad value in the world pretty much or close to that.Players that if needed can be sold that are starters for huge sums ,but thats not the point really right now.

You will never convince the fanboys no matter what is blatantly obvious, when other clubs see him coming they start rubbing their hands. He is about as much use as tits of fish when it comes to wheeling and dealing.

Not going well for a striker is it?

Our most important position.

Some of the fees our rivals are getting for their cast offs are making me hopeful and thoroughly defeated at the same time. If Man City get £20 million for Liam Delap and Utd get £28 million for totally damaged goods in Greenwood, in the same way that Liverpool somehow got £30 million for Brewster, then we need to be making sure we get decent returns for whomever we sell. And add ons.

I know it's not Football Manager but with the way the North West seems to be able to virtually print money, it may as well be.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Ornstein saying ability to do big deals Arteta wants may come down to selling players

Edu working overtime but as of yet has only managed to offload Biereth.

A player the club felt should be priced similar to Delap at Hull (deal agreed for £15m+5m) however Edu was into able to do a deal for £2m + £2m.

Edu has only been able to off load players who seem to have found their own deal

Maybe they're waiting for Watkins to get back from the Euros

0% chance we buy a striker. If we buy one Havertz won't have a place in the team and the club can't allow that giving his wages and fee we paid for him.
