funny how the Gyokores lovers are the same crowd that kept telling us Pepe was our best player and just being mismanaged :rofll:

If we swap him and then start losing is that better for the team?

Just have to see the 2 recent villa games to see how life is with and without Gyokeres

Love his workrate

Thats the thing, he is not scoring but he makes a contribution, thats why the manager will continue to pick him, its only a matter of time before he starts scoring.

Pepe was our best player. Arteta was an arse.

Gyokeres with 5 around him leaving rice free

The fear is real

Looooool 5 players attracted to Gyokeres, incredible. Not even sure why people are continuing to argue, its what we have been saying, its what Saka and the manager have said, Gyokeres buys space for others.

He does that; only a fool could dispute that, or somebody with an agenda. ;)

Tbh I doubt there is another example where 5 players were attracted to him. It’s not like he is messi or ronaldo, where that could happen every game, it was a one off.

In 23/24 we scored more goals in a league campaign since the 1950s, we were destroying teams with Havertz in attack.

We're winning in spite of him playing.

The only one doing something right is his agent, who somehow got this pubber into the best team in Europe, to be surrounded by quality players. So even though he's absolutely awful, nobody notices because fans don't care as long as you get that W.

To think that this guy might scam a PL medal soon while getting away with scoring 3 goals as the "main striker" and some fans still blame the team... Meanwhile, Sanchez scored 24 goals and 10 assists in 16/17, and we finished 5th.

Life is unfair, man... He is our version of Anderson.

Yup. Needs goals but we've seen first hand his all round game is excellent

Strikers under Arteta are mostly garbage but Gyokeres in the 5 mins he's been here is already the best we've had in years

City's wingers have scored a combined 1 goal all season. Give me Gyokeres up front just being a bulldozer and everyone else firing from all cylinders over that 1 man team any day.

We are now at the stage where we are crediting Gyokeres for not scoring bags of goals like Haaland because that would somehow be detrimental to our other players.

Also, which one of our wingers is exactly firing on all cylinders? Saka is having his worst goals per 90 output since the 20/21 season. Trossard is having a decent season but his 7 goals total (so far) is nowhere near the 17 goals he scored in 23/24 when Havertz, aka the best striker in this club by a country mile, was playing.

Oh and Havertz actually scores goals and provides assists, so he doesn't need to take credit for playing as the 3rd centre-back for the other team when one of our other players scores.

Enough is enough.

Sometimes it’s better to admit and take the loss and move on.

Forget helping, he's actually hurting the team right now.
