I said those stats look better, however that’s a goal every 2 1/2 games or so which isn’t bad, but the point was he’s not one of the most prolific players in PL history goalscoring wise.

No, I'll repeat again: when he starts he gets a goal every 152 minutes.

That's not every 2.5 games

My mistake. A goal every 1.69 games.

Aubameyang has a better record I believe and that’s despite 2 seasons when he didn’t score too many thanks to Arteta’s tactics and he wasn’t playing for the most creative team in the league.

4 - Richarlison threw a flare into the supporters of his own team.

I think Richarlison probably thinks he's as good as Cristiano Ronaldo, however I don't think he has the personality traits to want to be the best, for me he's exactly the type who will be pictures smoking or doing helium etc.

Gabriel has chipped in with goals and assists in a team that was packed with fantastic players, the pressure to deliver when everyone around you is just as capable of scoring goals is much more intense, at Arsenal he will get more starts, he'll stay on the pitch longer and I believe he'll be a focal point for our attacks, I think think he'll thrive in a team where he's assured of his place and has less pressure on his shoulders to deliver.

I fully expect him to shine and before he's 30 Real Madrid or Barcelona will buy him from us for a bigger fee as I think behind the scenes we are still the same as years ago when we became more of a selling club.

There will be more pressure at Arsenal as he’ll be expected to deliver goals, he’s the main guy brought in for goals.

At City he was surrounded by players who could score, so him scoring wasn’t as important.

Nice deflection there. We're talking about Jesus, not Auba :dontknow:

Yes, I was just adding some context to the figures.

Bit more context -

Coutinho to Barcelona
Hazard to Real Madrid
Fernando Torres to Chelsea.
Kaka to Real Madrid. ...
Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona. ...
Donny van de Beek to Manchester United. ...
Andy Carroll to Liverpool. ...
Alex Song to Barcelona. ...
Shinji Kagawa to Manchester United. ...
Timo Werner to Chelsea. ...

All supposedly top class attacking players who moved to big clubs and failed ... nothing is guaranteed, let's hope Jesus is a huge success but let's not just rely on having one unproven striker - again.

Bottom line, if anything happens to Jesus we are left with Nketiah to carry us for the rest of the season!! Why are we in this position ffs!!!

It's just bad planning carried over from last season. It made no sense to give Lacazette so much game time to let him walk on a free and to give Auba away to Barca. We should have been prepped Eddie, ESR or Martinelli for the back up striker role last season.

Richarlison is not a top PL player. Too inconsistent. Was for Everton and is for Spurs.
I don’t think he’s even scored a PL goal this year.
Nketiah is better than Richarlison. Never mind bringing Jesus into the equation.
The hilarious thing is the spuds paid £60m for him.
