Much better value for money, PL experienced, and covers key positions like LB + CM.

Literal quotes from him saying that he was impressed with Arteta and how he adores the manager but if you want to dismiss it then that's your prerogative :dontknow:

As usual you ignore the most important bits, it’s literally written in black and white and I quoted it, Edu convinced him.

Edu he sold him the project before Arteta even entered the picture.

Players are here to earn a good wage and play in a 60,000 world class stadium in an elite league.

Being around a familiar face helps, thats literally it. Everyone we have signed is getting aerious wages bar maybe Marquinhos.

@JacobsBen: “Certainly with Gabriel Jesus, it was Arteta that was 'one of' the big clinching aspects of that. Obviously, he knows Jesus from his time at Manchester City, but it was still the fact he was able to sell Arsenal, not just himself as a manager.” [@TFTerrace]

Lol reading fail for Reiss again.

Gets easily influenced by propoganda.

Seems like Edu had the biggest hand in this, then Martinelli tapping him up on national team duty.

Regardless. None of our players will reject a club like Real or Bayern to stay with their beloved 'Dear Leader' in Arteta. Lets get real here.

Tierney has great stamina and determination
Zinchenko is technically gifted for a full back.

Glad we have two top LB.

Thought he was pretty good defensively most of the game. Was missing Tierney's runs along the wings.
Think Zinny will do OK in the midfield if Tierney remains fit.

Almost played like a midfielder today. Most attacks originated from his side. Great composure on the ball and distribution. Will be an asset both at LB and left midfield.

Zina is great at progressing the ball and creating overloads in central areas. Also seems to time his tackles really well.

He's less impressive when he has to track pacy players, but thankfully Tierney excels in this aspect.

Having two excellent players who offer different things in the left-back position could prove to be key for us this season.
