He's less impressive when he has to track pacy players, but thankfully Tierney excels in this aspect.

Having two excellent players who offer different things in the left-back position could prove to be key for us this season.

Yep, he's very different. Reminds me of what Arteta had Maitland-Niles doing when Arteta first arrived. There were times where he looked like he was playing as DM/CM in midfield. He's really helped that left channel in terms of attack.

I'm actually really happy with Zinch.

Such a pro, plays like a Fullback / LM.

As long as he doesn't suffer defensivley I'm good.

I think it was a good idea to get both him and GJ. They've played together and won together. Usually we only have "winning personality" in the squad, and that's never been enough as one person can't get the rest of the squad to believe.

He actually looks more like a CM/AM rather than DM/CM.

Very good player as long as he isn't asked to defend too much.

Far better than the midget at manure.

You mean Martinez? I think he won't be that bad if Ten Hag plays him as a full back.

his game is primarily forward

every player is going to be beaten from time to time

the sequence that led to the 2nd goal last week... he and BiGabi ushered the player to a poor angle... that's not BAD defending
(wasnt GOOD either)

the GK failed

Love the leadership and example he's bringing to the team.

You can tell when he plays, he plays with authority.

Def should be in line as a sub captain, I actually think he brings more to the team than Tierney does.

Looks good in the role he is playing, definitely looks better when he occupies a midfield position.
